At Beales Caterers, we try to source our food as locally as possible, as befits a company that has been present in the area for eight generations and whose family has links in Hertfordshire back to the fifteenth century.

We also firmly believe in seasonal produce and would never recommend strawberries in December or plums in May, for example.

Here are some sample menus to give you an idea of what we can cater for you, with a large team of chefs cooking to a two AA rosette level. However, these menus are only a guide and we are happy to arrange a meeting to discuss your individual requirement as necessary.

Sit down set menus are great for those events where everyone remains in their seats and lets Beales Caterers do all the work !

Gala buffet menus are a nice compromise where you have a set starter and dessert served at proper tables with full place settings, but a wide choice of delicious main courses served at a buffet table packed with food.

Finger buffet menus are the ultimate in informal food, often used for stand up cocktail receptions where guests are served their food as bite sized canapés by our waiting staff or a delightfully presented buffet table.

Don’t forget that it is nice to prolong your special event either with tea and cake or biscuits if holding a lunch, or with cheese and savoury nibbles if holding an evening party.
